Job summary

Ultimate Therapy Services in Glen Burnie, MD is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join the Autumn Lake at Baltimore Washington team. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work with residents in a skilled nursing and post-acute care setting alongside an experienced interdisciplinary team.

You will evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders, develop individualized treatment plans, provide targeted interventions, and document progress.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist license is required.
• Graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and goals.
• Provide interventions focused on communication, cognition, and swallowing.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment approaches accordingly.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapeutic strategies.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with PT, OT, nursing, physicians, and other care team members.
