Job summary

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist license.
• Clinical knowledge of adult communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Strong organization, communication, and documentation skills.
• Skilled nursing or post-acute rehabilitation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete evaluations of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities.
• Establish treatment plans that connect assessment findings with residents’ functional goals.
• Provide therapy for expressing needs, understanding information, attention, memory, and everyday problem-solving.
