Job summary

The role involves supervising CFY students, coordinating with physicians and nursing staff, and ensuring compliant documentation and progress communication. Licensure and CE requirements must be maintained.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (Masters/Doctorate preferred).
• Ability to supervise CFY–Speech Clinical Fellows and students as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and independence.
• Supervise CFY/Speech Fellows and students in resident care.
• Communicate with physicians, nursing staff, and families regarding progress and discharge planning.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in accordance with requirements.
