Job summary

Ojai Health & Rehabilitation seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate residents and plan individualized therapies. You will collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, families, and the health team to advance communication and swallowing goals.

Licensure as a Speech Therapist in the state is required; supervise CFY students and ensure compliant documentation and infection control in daily care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology; Masters/Doctorate preferred.
• Proficient with Net Health and Point Click Care.
• Licensed as a Speech Therapist in the state; continuing education per state rules.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs and rehab potential.
• Develop, implement and update individualized treatment plans.
• Supervise CFY- Speech Clinical Fellows and students.
• Communicate with physicians, nursing staff, residents, and families.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in medical records.
