Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state with current credentials.
• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology; master's or doctorate preferred.
• Experience with clinical documentation systems such as Net Health and Point Click Care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing.
• Supervise CFY/Student clinicians as applicable.
• Communicate with physicians, nursing staff, residents, and families regarding progress and discharge planning.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in accordance with facility and payer requirements.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment with infection control and safety protocols.
