Job summary

SANANTONIOWEST is seeking a Staff Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat residents, develop treatment plans, and document services in medical records. You will educate families and staff, supervise CFY students, and collaborate with physicians and the health care team to support residents’ communication and swallowing goals.

Required is a degree in Speech-Language Pathology and state licensure; proficiency with Net Health and Point Click Care is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and state licensure.
• Prefer graduates of a Masters or Doctorate program in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Proficient in computer data entry and health record systems (Net Health, Point Click Care).
• Licensed Speech Therapist in the state; maintain CE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine therapy needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing.
• Supervise CFY Speech Clinial Fellows and students.
• Communicate progress with physicians, families, and care team.
• Complete accurate documentation in medical records and ensure compliance.
