Job summary

RIVERCREST is seeking a Staff Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat residents, coordinate with families and the health team, and maintain documentation in medical records.

You will develop individualized treatment plans to improve swallowing and communication, supervise CFY students, train staff, and participate in care conferences while ensuring compliance with policies and licensure requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology; Master's/ Doctorate preferred.
• Current state license to practice as a Speech Therapist.
• Proficient in Net Health and Point Click Care.
• Ability to supervise CFY and students.
• Strong communication with residents, families, and health team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans.
• Train facility staff and supervise CFY students.
• Communicate progress with physicians and families.
• Ensure accurate documentation and infection control.
• Participate in care conferences and discharge planning.
