Job summary

Rehab Without Walls seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join the Home & Community Program in Bellevue, WA. This PRN W2 role delivers outpatient-level therapy in clients' homes and communities, with a flexible, supportive team and schedule.

You will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, provide 1:1 therapy, and collaborate with OTs, PTs, and social workers to promote independence and safe community participation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Master’s Degree from an accredited Speech‑Language Pathology program.
  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • At least one year of work experience as a Speech‑Language Pathologist.
  • Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury preferred.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds; moving, lifting, or transferring patients involving up to 100 pounds following safety procedures.
  • Fine motor skills, visual acuity, and ability to walk/stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to push/pull, bend/stoop, reach, kneel, and position frequently.
  • Health screen or examination may be required prior to assignment and periodically thereafter, depending on location policy, local and state regulations.

  • Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
  • Regularly re‑assess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings, and family conferences.
  • Perform discharge evaluations, make appropriate recommendations for home and community safety, and provide referral/education resources.
  • Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, client, and family members.
  • Collaborate across disciplines to ensure coordination of care and enhance patient outcomes.

This W2 PRN role offers flexibility, stability, and the opportunity to deliver meaningful, real‑world therapy by bringing outpatient‑level care directly to clients.
