Job summary

BrightSpring Health Services is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to work in Puyallup. This role involves providing therapy in home and community settings, developing and executing treatment plans for patients with speech and cognitive disorders.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, have a valid state license, and at least one year of relevant experience. This is a PRN position offering flexible hours and competitive pay.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in state of practice.
  • At least one year of work experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

Responsibilities

  • Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for speech and cognitive disorders.

  • Communicate patient’s needs and progress to treatment team and family.

Pay: USD $50.00 - $60.00 / Hour

Overview

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation is hiring Speech‑Language Pathologists for our Home & Community Program in Tacoma. Our innovative model supports communication, cognitive, and functional goals in real‑world environments.

  • Provide speech and cognitive therapy in home/community settings
  • Support return to work, return to driving, and independent communication
  • Collaborate with OT, PT, and LCSW team members

Responsibilities
  • Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans of patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
  • Re‑assess effectiveness of treatment plans regularly, attend staffing meetings, and family conferences
  • Perform discharge evaluations, recommend home and community safety measures, and provide referral and education resources
  • Communicate patient’s needs and progress to the treatment team, physicians, service recipients, and family members
  • Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, care coordination, and enhanced patient outcomes
Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Master’s Degree from an accredited Speech‑Language Pathology program
  • Valid Speech‑Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice
  • Current CPR certification
  • At least one year of work experience as a Speech‑Language Pathologist
  • Preferred knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds, and up to 100 pounds when moving or transferring patients, following safety procedures
  • Fine motor skills, visual acuity, and ability to walk or stand for extended periods
  • Physical ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, reach, kneel, and position frequently, as required
  • May require health screen or examination prior to assignment and periodically thereafter to ensure physical capability with or without reasonable accommodations
