Job summary

Rehab Without Walls in Vancouver, WA is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for the Home & Community Program as a PRN W2 position. You will deliver speech, language, and cognitive therapy in home and community settings, supporting functional communication and independence.

The role offers flexible scheduling, hourly pay, drive time and mileage reimbursement, and educational programs with a supportive clinical team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited SLP program.
• Current state licensure as an SLP.
• CPR certification current per state requirements.
• At least 1 year of SLP experience.
• Knowledge of neurorehabilitation techniques preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders and create plans.
• Regularly reassess progress; attend staffing and family conferences.
• Complete discharge evaluations; advise on home safety and resources.
• Communicate needs and progress to the treatment team, patient, and family.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to optimize outcomes.

Rehab Without Walls is expanding services in Vancouver, WA and seeking experienced Speech Language Pathologists to join our Home & Community Program. Founded in 1995, RWW now serves clients in 21 states, delivering innovative neurorehabilitation with a focus on real-world outcomes.

Our Home & Community model brings outpatient level SLP care directly to clients, supporting communication, cognition, and independence in everyday environments.

• Provide speech, language, and cognitive therapy in home and community settings.
• Support return to work, return to driving, and functional communication goals.
• Collaborate with OT, PT, and LCSW clinicians.

Responsibilities

What you will do:

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans of patients with speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders.
• Regularly re-assess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations, make appropriate recommendations for home and community safety, and provide referral and education resources.
• Communicate patient’s needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, person receiving services and family members.
• Communicates with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, coordination of care and enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

What you will need:

• Minimum of a Master’s Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
• Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice.
• Current CPR Certification in accordance with state regulations.
• A minimum of one year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury preferred.
• Communicates effectively and professionally in verbal and written interactions.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Moving, lifting, or transferring of patients which may involve lifting of up to 100 pounds following safety procedures.
• Duties require fine motor skills, visual acuity, and walking/standing for extended periods.
• Additional physical requirements include: pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently at times.
• A health screen or examination may be required prior to assignment and periodically thereafter, depending on specific location policy, local and state regulations to verify employee is physically capable of performing assigned duties with or without reasonable accommodations.

Salary Range

USD $50.00 - $55.00 / Hour
