Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation – a part of BrightSpring Health Services – is seeking an experienced Speech‑Language Pathologist to join our Home & Community Program in Seattle. This W2 PRN role offers flexibility, stability, and the opportunity to deliver meaningful, real‑world therapy by bringing outpatient‑level care directly to clients.

You’ll provide one‑on‑one therapy, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and help patients regain communication, cognitive and swallowing

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Minimum of one year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury preferred.
• Communicates effectively and professionally in verbal and written interactions.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Regularly re-assess effectiveness of treatment plans and attend staffing meetings and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide home/community safety recommendations and resources.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, patient, and family members.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate care and improve patient outcomes.

What You’ll Do

• Provide functional speech, language, cognitive, and communication therapy in real‑life settings.
• Support clients as they transition back to driving, work, and increased community participation.
• Work one‑on‑one with clients in environments that promote stronger carryover and outcomes.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including OTs, PTs, and LCSWs.

• Communicate patient’s needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, person receiving services, and family members.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Master’s Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
• Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Minimum of one year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury preferred.
• Communicates effectively and professionally in verbal and written interactions.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and lift up to 100 pounds following safety procedures.
• Requires fine motor skills, visual acuity, and walking/standing for extended periods.
• Additional physical requirements: pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently.
• A health screen or examination may be required prior to assignment and periodically thereafter.
