Job summary

Rehab Without Walls in Vancouver, WA is seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to join our Home & Community Program on a PRN basis. You will deliver speech, language, and cognitive therapy in clients' homes and communities, supporting communication, swallowing, and functional independence.

The role offers flexible scheduling, hourly pay, and mileage reimbursement, with collaboration among a multidisciplinary clinical team to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
  • Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • Minimum of one year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and assist with patient transfers.

Responsibilities

  • Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders.
  • Regularly reassess effectiveness of treatment plans and participate in staffing meetings and family conferences.
  • Perform discharge evaluations and provide home and community safety recommendations and resources.
  • Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, patient and family members.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure coordinated care and improved outcomes.

Overview

Rehab Without Walls is expanding services in Vancouver, WA and seeking experienced Speech Language Pathologists to join our Home & Community Program. Founded in 1995, RWW now serves clients in 21 states, delivering innovative neurorehabilitation with a focus on real-world outcomes.

Our Home & Community model brings outpatient level SLP care directly to clients, supporting communication, cognition, and independence in everyday environments.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide speech, language, and cognitive therapy in home and community settings.
  • Support return to work, return to driving, and functional communication goals.
  • Collaborate with OT, PT, and LCSW clinicians.

  • Communicates with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, coordination of care and enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications

What you will need:

  • Minimum of a Master’s Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
  • Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice.
  • Current CPR Certification in accordance with state regulations.
  • A minimum of one year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury preferred.
  • Communicates effectively and professionally in verbal and written interactions.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Moving, lifting, or transferring of patients which may involve lifting of up to 100 pounds following safety procedures.
  • Duties require fine motor skills, visual acuity, and walking/standing for extended periods.
  • Additional physical requirements include: pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently at times.
  • A health screen or examination may be required prior to assignment and periodically thereafter, depending on specific location policy, local and state regulations to verify employee is physically capable of performing assigned duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
Salary Range

USD $50.00 - $55.00 / Hour
