Job summary

Palm Springs Healthcare Center is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat residents within approved plans of care, conduct hearing and speech assessments, and support functional swallow techniques. The role requires a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology and California licensure.

The position offers a competitive salary range ($104,000–$124,800) with a sign-on bonus, PTO, and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.
• Certification in Clinical Competency.
• Current license to practice Speech-Language Pathology issued by the state of California.

Responsibilities

• Screens and evaluates residents and develops appropriate plan of care.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Administers, scores, and interprets specialized hearing and speech tests.
• Works with residents for functional swallow techniques.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
