Job summary

Nationwide-Children seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat pediatric patients with speech, language, voice and swallowing disorders. You will develop individualized treatment plans, collaborate with families and a multidisciplinary team, and educate staff and students through programs.

The role requires a Master’s in SLP, Ohio licensure, and ASHA certification or eligibility, with CPR within 60 days.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required).
• Valid Ohio License in Speech Pathology (required).
• ASHA Certification or eligibility for supervision during fellowship (required).
• CPR certification within 60 days post hire (required).
• Previous pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates pediatric patients to determine developmental and functional status.
• Develops individualized treatment plans with goals and family needs.
• Administers therapeutic treatment to improve development, function, and independence.
• Educates on goals and home activities and monitors compliance.
• Documents patient progress and maintains caseload documentation.
• Communicates status to physicians and other providers; collaborates with teams.
• Conducts educational programs for hospital staff, students, and community; supervises students and fellows.
