Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a school-based contract near Youngstown, OH. The assignment runs from September 1 through June 4 and offers a flexible four-days-on-site with one remote day per week.

Recent grads and experienced clinicians are welcome; CFY supervision is available. You’ll work with students with diverse needs, collaborating with teachers and families while developing IEP-aligned treatment plans.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current or eligible for state licensure.
  • CCC-SLP certification or CFY track.
  • Experience or passion for pediatrics and educational settings.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEPs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and monitor progress.
  • Advocate for students' communication needs within the school community.

Job description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, serving students in an engaging educational setting near Youngstown, OH (conveniently close to the Pennsylvania border and southeast of Cleveland). This school-based assignment runs from September 1 through June 4 and presents the chance to make a meaningful impact while growing your professional skills.

Work a flexible schedule of four days per week onsite, with one remote-work day for added convenience. Both recent graduates and experienced clinicians are welcomesupervision is available for Clinical Fellows (CFY), ensuring a supportive environment to launch or progress your SLP career. Caseload preferences are valued here, and assignments will be tailored as much as possible to your strengths or interests.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current or eligibility for state licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or actively pursuing CFY
  • Experience or passion for working in pediatrics, educational settings, or healthcare facilities
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEPs and school guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams for holistic student support
