Job summary

Nationwide Children’s Hospital is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to diagnose and treat speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in pediatric patients. You will develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with families and a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include educating staff and families, documenting progress, supervising students and fellows, and contributing to program development.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
  • Valid Ohio License in Speech Pathology is required.
  • ASHA Certification in Speech Pathology, or eligible for supervision by a certified SLP during a fellowship, is required.
  • CPR certification due within 60 days post hire or post expiration.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates and treats pediatric patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develops individualized treatment plans incorporating patient and family needs.
  • Educates patients and families on therapy goals and home activities; tracks progress.
