Job summary

Ascension’s Acute Rehabilitation team in Pensacola, FL seeks a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients during the day shift with rotating weekends/holidays. The role includes patient education, discharge planning, and maintaining clinical records as part of a collaborative rehab team.

The ideal candidate holds Florida licensure in Speech-Language Pathology, a BLS certification, and inpatient rehab experience.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire date.
• Florida Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology license required.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Speech-Language Pathologist credentialed from the Florida Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Speech language pathologist provisional license will be accepted until license is issued. License must be obtained within 12 months of hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• One year of Inpatient Rehabilitation experience
