Job summary

Ascension Sacred Heart Bay in Panama City, FL seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide therapy within Rehabilitation Services, educating patients and families on treatment plans and ensuring quality care.

Responsibilities include maintaining records, supporting performance improvement, and assisting with discharge planning. Florida licensure and BLS are required; provisional license accepted until issuance, with ongoing professional development encouraged.

Qualifications

• Licensure as Speech-Language Pathologist with Florida Board credentialed prior to hire date; provisional license accepted until issued (12 months).
• BLS provider certification within 30 days of hire.
• Education: high school diploma equivalency with experience or an associate/technical degree or 4 years related experience.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Speech-Language Pathologist credentialed from the Florida Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Speech language pathologist provisional license will be accepted until license is issued. License must be obtained within 12 months of hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
