Ascension is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join Ascension St. Vincent's Clay County Hospital in Middleburg, FL. The role involves evaluating and treating patients, counseling families, documenting progress, and coordinating post-acute discharge and community support.

Minimum requirements include ASHA credentialing, BLS, and licensure within 12 months of hire. The position supports a days/PRN schedule at a hospital facility within the Ascension network.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider required within 1 month of hire date.
• ASHA-credentialed Speech-Language Pathologist required before hire or within 12 months of hire.
• Licensure must be obtained within 12 months of hire date.

• Educate and counsel patients and families on personalized treatment plans.
• Document clinical progress and uphold quality improvement standards.
• Facilitate seamless discharge from speech therapy services and coordinate community support.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Speech‑Language Pathologist credentialed from the American Speech‑Language‑Hearing Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Speech language pathologist provisional license will be accepted until license is issued. License must be obtained within 12 months of hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
