Job summary

Creative Solutions in Healthcare - West is seeking a Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our in-house team serving residents with person-centered care to achieve positive outcomes.

You will evaluate swallowing and cognitive deficits, develop treatment plans, and coordinate with physicians and caregivers. Texas licensure and long-term care experience preferred; in-house benefits and opportunities provided.

Qualifications

• Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Maintain good standing with licensing boards.
• SNF/long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of current treatment practices.
• Familiarity with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.
• Ability to manage residents with different personalities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents' swallowing or cognitive deficits.
• Develop and implement individualized speech and language therapy plans.
• Provide AAC systems for those with expressive/language disorders.
• Educate residents and caregivers about therapy goals and progress.
• Coordinate with physicians and other professionals for diagnostic swallowing procedures.
• Document billing records and clinical notes accurately and timely.
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with relevant laws.
