Job summary

Hill Valley Healthcare is seeking a Full Time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our in-house rehabilitation team, focusing on improving residents' communication, cognition, swallowing, and independence. You will evaluate and treat disorders, develop individualized treatment plans, educate residents and families, and collaborate on diagnostic procedures, with strong documentation and compliance.

Active SLP license in good standing and ASHA certification required; nursing/long-term care

Qualifications

• Active Speech-Language Pathology state license in good standing.
• Current ASHA certification.
• Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Educate residents, families, caregivers, and clinical staff
• Collaborate on diagnostic swallowing procedures, including MBSS and FEES
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation
• Communicate changes in resident conditions to the care team
• Support restorative nursing and interdisciplinary care initiatives
• Ensure compliance with all professional, legal, and confidentiality standards
