Job summary

Spring View Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive services for residents, including evaluation, treatment planning, and discharge planning within the rehabilitation program.

You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize communication and swallowing safety, maintain professional licensure, and adhere to state/federal regulations while delivering compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Valid state Speech Language Pathologist license.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), where applicable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and basic internet navigation.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language pathology services, including screening, evaluation, and treatment.
• Discharge planning and case management responsibilities.
• Supervise assistants and rehab techs as appropriate.
• Maintain professional conduct and comply with state/federal regulations governing SLP practice.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and facility information.
• Refer patients for supervision or continued treatment as needed.
• Participate in utilization review, care conferences, and interdisciplinary team activities.
