Job summary

Life Care Center of Scottsdale is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide direct rehab care in speech therapy for patients referred by a physician.

Candidates must hold an MS/MA in Speech-Language Pathology and be ASHA certified (CCC) or eligible for CFY, with an active state license; CPR certification is required or obtained during orientation. New grads are welcome to apply and will follow established treatment plans while collaborating with the care team.

Qualifications

• MS or MA in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• ASHA CCCs or eligibility for CFY must be met to pursue CCCs.
• Current state licensure in good standing; CPR certification on hire or during orientation.
• New grads welcome; one year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish, assess, and modify realistic therapy goals for patients.
• Follow and implement prescribed speech therapy treatment plans.
• Document progress accurately in patient charts.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for patient care.
• Maintain patient safety and regulatory compliance.
• Utilize therapy software effectively and maintain professional conduct.
