Qualifications

• Must possess a master’s or doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP).
• Must be licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California or be in the process of obtaining a license that would be issued before patient care begins.
• CPR certification is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Licensed driver with reliable transportation.

Responsabilités

• Conduct evaluations and assess home environment to identify equipment needs for speech/language function.
• Identify functional speech deficits and plan care to improve patient function.
• Administer speech therapy using specialized techniques/equipment.
• Recommend communication devices or aids as indicated.
• Coordinate with referring physicians and organization staff for integrated care.
• Participate in case conferences and provide in-services as needed.
• Complete and submit documentation within required timelines.
