Job summary

Cascadia EE LLC in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive disabilities in a sub-acute/long-term care setting. Travel between Puget Sound and Pacific Ridge is required.

You will develop treatment plans, provide direct therapy under a physician’s direction, document care, and collaborate with rehab staff to support successful communication outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current knowledge of effective speech therapy techniques.
• Familiarity with clinical needs of geriatric population.
• Strong clinical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Screens and evaluates patients/residents and develops appropriate care plan.
• Under a physician's direction, provides direct patient/resident treatment based on established plan of care.
• Plans, directs, or conducts rehabilitative treatment programs to restore communicative efficiency.
