Cascadia Healthcare is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our Portland, Oregon teams. We offer full-time and PRN opportunities with flexible scheduling and an in-house therapy model as part of our facility teams.

You will evaluate and treat residents with speech, swallowing, and cognitive disorders while following state and federal guidelines. The position emphasizes patient-centered care, collaboration with rehab and nursing staff, HIPAA privacy, and ongoing professional

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Current license in Speech Language Pathology as required by state law.
• Valid CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients; develop appropriate care plans.
• Provide direct patient treatment under physician direction.
• Conduct rehabilitative programs to improve communication, swallowing, or cognitive function.
• Administer, score, and interpret hearing and speech tests.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy plans and home practice.
• Document evaluations, daily notes, and progress summaries.
• Maintain patient privacy and HIPAA compliance.
