Job summary

Cascadia EE LLC is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat residents with speech, swallowing, and cognitive-communication needs in a sub-acute/long-term care setting. You will develop treatment plans and work under physician guidance to support patient recovery and independence.

Qualified candidates hold a BS in Speech Language Pathology, a current SLP license, and CPR certification. Six months of long-term care experience is preferred.

• Familiarity with geriatric care needs.
• Strong clinical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with speech, swallowing, cognitive-communication, and related disabilities according to physician plans.
• Develop treatment plans with short- and long-term goals.
• Administer, score, and interpret hearing and speech tests as needed.
• Document evaluations and progress in patient records.
• Collaborate with nursing and rehab staff to provide integrated care.
