Job summary

Talented Medicals Solution is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate, diagnose and treat patients across multiple clinical settings. You will develop individualized treatment plans to improve communication, cognition, and swallowing safety, while promoting functional independence and quality of life.

Collaborating with physicians, rehab staff, nursing personnel, caregivers and other professionals, you will provide evidence-based interventions and maintain compliant documentation

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of practice.
• CCC-SLP from ASHA preferred or required according to facility policy.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or required by facility policy.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients with speech, language, cognitive, communication, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and established goals.
• Provide evidence-based speech-language pathology interventions to improve communication, cognition, swallowing function, and overall quality of life.
• Perform speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing assessments utilizing standardized evaluation tools and clinical judgment.
• Conduct modified swallowing evaluations and other swallowing assessments when within scope of practice and facility requirements.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical response and rehabilitation goals.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans, home exercise programs, communication strategies, and swallowing precautions.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete clinical documentation in accordance with facility policies, regulatory standards, and professional practice guidelines.
• Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, case managers, educators, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning, discharge planning, quality improvement activities, and continuing education.
• Maintain patient safety and comply with HIPAA, infection prevention, and facility policies.
