Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of practice.
• CCC-SLP preferred or required according to facility policy.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or required by facility policy.
• Experience in multiple clinical settings (skilled nursing, rehab, acute care, outpatient, school, pediatric, adult, geriatric).
• Experience evaluating and treating speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients with speech, language, cognitive, communication, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Provide evidence-based speech-language pathology interventions to improve communication, cognition, swallowing function, and quality of life.
• Perform assessments utilizing standardized tools and clinical judgment.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans and home exercise programs.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility policies.
