Job summary

MedCadre is seeking a proficient Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a permanent position. You will evaluate speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing needs, and develop individualized treatment plans to improve communication and quality of life.

You will implement therapeutic interventions, monitor progress, educate patients and caregivers, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team while adhering to safety and clinical standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current and active state SLP license.
• CCC-SLP required or preferred as applicable.
• Strong assessment, communication, documentation, and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions for communication and swallowing disorders.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques, safety, and home programs.
• Recommend appropriate communication strategies and adaptive equipment.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Follow patient safety, infection-control, and clinical standards.
