Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's in Speech-Language Pathology program completion.
• Must maintain licensure by the Texas State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology.
• ASHA membership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates speech/language and swallowing abilities and develops a plan of care.
• Documents evaluations, treatments, and discharge summaries accurately.
• Assesses interventions and outcomes in line with the Speech Therapy Practice Act for Texas.
• Collaborates with physicians, nurses, case management, PTs and OT to implement plans.
• Provides supervision and education to fellows and students.
