Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders in inpatient and/or outpatient settings. The role involves coordinating care, documenting outcomes, and ensuring evidence-based services.

You will work within program guidelines and rotate across services as needed. The position requires a Master’s degree in speech-language pathology, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with common office

Qualifications

• Master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program.
• CCC-SLP certification and NJ license eligibility required.
• CF/clinical fellowship accepted for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat individuals with communication and swallowing disorders.
• Coordinate, educate, communicate and document services for patients.
• Work in inpatient and/or outpatient settings; rotate to other services as needed.
• Develop diagnostic impressions, goals and treatment plans based on evaluations.
• Establish a care plan with patient/family based on functional goals.
• Deliver therapy across age groups with developmentally appropriate activities.
• Reassess progress and modify or discontinue therapy as indicated.
• Document per policies; track data and charges; ensure compliance with reimbursement rules.
• Adhere to organizational competencies, policies and procedures.
