Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited school.
• CCC SLP licensure required.
• 1 year pediatric speech therapy experience.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Interprets physician referrals and conducts speech and language evaluation of patients with various disorders.
• Establishes a written plan of care and implements treatment; monitors outcomes and adjusts as needed.
• Plans for discharge including home programs and family teaching; coordinates community referrals.
• Completes documentation, billing, scheduling and maintains productivity standards.
• Ensures safety, equipment cleanliness and infection control; supports patient transport as needed.
• Supports student clinical education and supervision of junior staff.
