Job summary

Aurora Health Care in Wisconsin is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate patients with diverse speech, language, voice, cognitive and swallowing disorders. You will interpret referrals and develop individualized treatment plans to meet functional goals.

You will monitor outcomes, adjust plans as needed, and plan for discharge with home programs and family teaching while ensuring thorough documentation and compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited program.
• Speech Language Pathologist license in the state(s) of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Interpret physician referrals and conduct speech, language, voice, cognitive and swallowing evaluations.
• Establish a written plan of care and implement individual treatment; monitor and adjust based on response.
• Plan for discharge including home programs, family teaching, and referrals as needed; ensure continuity of care.
• Document patient care per policy, billings, statistics, and scheduling; maintain productivity and compliance.
• Collaborate with physicians and teammates; may supervise students and provide direction as requested.
