Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist in Clinical Fellowship (SLP-CF) to join a diverse rehab team. You will work under supervision to complete fellowship requirements while actively contributing to patient care and treatment planning.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing therapy plans, coordinating with the rehab team, and ensuring adherence to licensure standards and CMS guidelines. A supportive mentorship program is offered.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.
• Licensed, certified or credentialed as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Communicates status of Clinical Fellowship and licensure to supervisor and Rehab Director.
• Completes licensure documentation and application and maintains CCC and permanent license.
• Will not supervise students during the Clinical Fellowship.
• Meets productivity standards for the rehab gym or as directed by leadership.
• Attends and contributes to patient care, staffing conferences and related meetings.
• Makes referrals to other disciplines to address patient needs.
• Consults with rehab team to select appropriate therapy plan.
• Adapts program as needed to patient progress.
• Promotes safety and removes hazards.
• Coordinates equipment and supplies as necessary.
• Instructs patients in use of adaptive communication devices.
• Evaluates patient progress and progress toward goals.
