Powerback Rehabilitation seeks a Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF) to contribute to a multidisciplinary rehab team. The role involves completing a 36-week Clinical Fellowship under licensed supervision, pursuing provisional licensure, and ensuring documentation and compliance with state and CMS requirements.

You'll collaborate with therapists to evaluate and treat cognitive-communication, swallowing, articulation, and other speech-language pathologies, while adhering to safety

Qualifications

• They must possess a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
• They must be licensed, certified or credentialed as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Complete a 36-week Clinical Fellowship under licensed supervision.
• Meet provisional licensure requirements and CMS supervision standards as applicable.
• Communicate fellowship and licensure status to supervisor and rehab leadership.
• Be ineligible to supervise students during the Clinical Fellowship.
• Meet productivity standards for the rehab gym as directed.
• Attend patient care meetings and related staffing conferences.
• Refer to other disciplines to address patient needs.
• Collaborate with rehab team to select appropriate therapy regimens.
• Adapt treatment plan according to patient needs.
• Promote a safe environment and report hazards.
• Order supplies and maintain equipment; document findings.
