Job summary

Powerback is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellowship (SLP-CF) to join our rehabilitation team. The role emphasizes supervision by a licensed, ASHA-certified SLP, completing 36 weeks of fellowship for full-time employment, and progressing toward permanent licensure.

You will contribute to patient care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary rehab team, and adhere to CMS and state licensure requirements while ensuring safety and quality in therapy delivery.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, or similarly titled area, acceptable to ASHA.

Responsibilities

• Complete a minimum of 36 weeks Clinical Fellowship for full-time employment under supervision by a licensed, ASHA-certified SLP.
• Maintain licensure documentation and research eligibility/requirements for provisional licensure.
• Communicate fellowship and licensure status to direct supervisor and Rehab Director in a timely manner.
• Not eligible to supervise students during the Clinical Fellowship.
• Meet productivity standards for the rehab gym as directed by leadership.
• Attend patient care, staffing conferences and related meetings.
• Refer to other disciplines to address patient needs.
• Consult with rehab team to select appropriate therapeutic regimen.
• Adapt plan of care per patient needs.
• Promote safe environment and report hazards.
• Order supplies and equipment as necessary.
• Maintain equipment and report repairs.

Education
