Job summary

Corewell Health's Blodgett Hospital in Grand Rapids seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to deliver patient-centered therapy under medical direction. You will educate patients and families, coordinate adaptive equipment, and contribute to inpatient rehab.

The role is full-time, day shift, Monday through Friday, 40 hours weekly, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You will work in an integrated rehab team and participate in standard ASHA certification requirements and facility compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program (required).
• Master's or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
• ASHA certification required with 1 year minimum experience.
• BLS certification required; valid Michigan driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy to patients based on clinical need and medical direction.
• Educate patients and caregivers; arrange adaptive equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation team to support inpatient care.

Standard Qualifications

• Doctorate Graduate of accredited speech therapy program (Preferred)
• 2 years of relevant experience May be part of clinical education experience (Preferred)
• Speech Language Pathologist - ASHA American Speech-Language-Hearing Association 1 Year (Required)
• Driver's License - STATE_MI State of Michigan Home Care Business Lines Upon Hire (Required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association or Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days (Required)
