Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist to provide personalized therapy to patients under medical direction. The role includes educating patients and caregivers and arranging adaptive equipment as needed to support recovery and independence.

The position is based at Zeeland Hospital with day shifts and a flexible weekend schedule, offering opportunities to collaborate with Rehab Resource Pool and hospital teams in Grand Rapids area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from an accredited physical therapy program
• Master's degree preferred
• 6 months of relevant experience preferred
• Licensure as Physical Therapist in Michigan (Upon Hire)
• MI Driver's License (Upon Hire)
• BLS certification by AHA or ARC (within 90 days)

Responsibilities

• Provides therapy to patients based on patient need and medical direction
• Provides patient/caregiver education
• Arranges for adaptive equipment as needed

Standard Qualifications

• Required Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from an accredited physical therapy program
• Preferred Master's Degree
• 6 months of relevant experience Preferred
• LIC-Physical Therapist - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
• LIC-Driver's License - STATE_MI State of Michigan Home Care Business Lines Upon Hire required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required Or
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required
