Role Description

This full-time, on-site Speech Language Pathologist role is based in the Washington DC-Baltimore Area and involves providing direct speech and language therapy services to children in school and home settings. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions that address speech, language, social communication, and related needs. The Speech Language Pathologist will collaborate closely with families, teachers, and other therapists to support carryover of skills across environments and contribute to interdisciplinary care plans. The role also includes maintaining accurate documentation, monitoring progress toward goals, and participating in team meetings and consultations. The clinician is expected to uphold professional and ethical standards while fostering a supportive, child-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Clinical skills in pediatric speech and language assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based intervention across a range of communication disorders.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with families, teachers, and interdisciplinary team members, and to communicate treatment plans in clear, accessible language.
• Strong documentation, time management, and organizational skills to manage caseloads, progress notes, and school or home-based schedules.
• Comfort working in diverse school and home environments within the Washington DC-Baltimore Area, with flexibility to travel locally as needed.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program and current state licensure (or eligibility) in Maryland and/or the DC-Baltimore region.
• Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred; clinical fellowship candidates may be considered.
• Experience or strong interest in pediatric practice, particularly working with children in educational or home-based settings.
