Job summary

Charm City Therapy in Maryland is seeking a qualified and passionate Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to join our school-based team. The SLP will assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.

Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply, with excellent mentorship and supervision to support your CF year. You will collaborate with teachers, staff and families, develop IEPs, provide direct therapy, and support literacy and language development

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Maryland SLP license is required.
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and write diagnostic reports.
• Develop and implement IEPs for eligible students.
• Provide direct therapy in individual and group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff and families to support classroom communication needs.
• Participate in IEP meetings and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Document progress toward IEP goals.
• Support literacy, social skills and language development initiatives.
• Supervise and support other clinicians, if applicable.
• Provide training and resources to school staff regarding communication disorders.

Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Document and track student progress toward IEP goals.

Support literacy, social skills, and language development initiatives.

Supervise and support other clinicians, if applicable.

Provide training and resources to school staff regarding communication disorders.

Qualifications:
