Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in Speech Therapy and speech assessment and intervention.
• Strong knowledge of Communication Disorders and Language Disorders in pediatric populations.
• Experience managing Dysphagia, including evaluation and treatment of pediatric feeding and swallowing challenges.
• Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program and current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP in Maryland.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech‑Language Pathology (CCC‑SLP) or clinical fellowship status in progress.
• Experience working with children with special needs and their families in educational, clinical, or community settings.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to collaborate in an interdisciplinary team environment.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice, cultural responsiveness, and ongoing professional development.

Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site Speech Language Pathologist role based in Rockville, MD. The Speech Language Pathologist will conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and provide direct therapy services to children with a range of communication and swallowing needs. Daily responsibilities include assessing speech, language, and communication skills, delivering evidence‑based interventions, documenting progress, and collaborating closely with families and an interdisciplinary team to support functional outcomes at home, school, and in the community. The role also involves participating in team meetings, contributing to care planning, providing caregiver training, and maintaining accurate, timely clinical records in accordance with professional and organizational standards.
