Job summary

Charm City Therapy in Baltimore, MD seeks a qualified Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to join a school-based team. You will assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders, collaborating with teachers and families to support classroom communication.

The role emphasizes comprehensive evaluations, IEP development, and direct therapy in group settings, with supervision for Clinical Fellows and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid Maryland SLP license.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and write formal diagnostic reports.
• Develop and implement IEPs for eligible students.
• Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings.
• Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication needs.
• Participate in IEP meetings and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Document and track student progress toward IEP goals.
• Support literacy, social skills, and language development initiatives.
• Supervise and support other clinicians, if applicable.
• Provide training and resources to school staff regarding communication disorders.
