Job summary

Charm City Therapy in Maryland is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to join our school-based team. The SLP will assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders, and develop IEPs with collaborative teams.

We welcome Clinical Fellows and offer strong mentorship, supervision, and opportunities for career advancement. Positions are full- or part-time, on-site in Baltimore-area schools, with multiple settings including clinic and virtual options.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid Maryland Speech-Language Pathology License.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and write diagnostic reports.
• Develop and implement IEPs for eligible students.
• Provide direct therapy in individual and group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication needs.
• Participate in IEP meetings and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Document progress toward IEP goals.
• Support literacy, social skills, and language development initiatives.
• Supervise and support other clinicians when applicable.
• Provide training and resources to school staff on communication disorders.

Charm City Therapy is a Maryland based pediatric multidisciplinary therapy center offering speech, occupational, and physical therapy. Located in a beautiful state of the art clinic in the heart of Owings Mills, we service children from birth until 21. Position Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our school-based team. The SLP will assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. The ideal candidate is collaborative, student-centered, and committed to supporting each child’s ability to communicate effectively in the academic setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings.
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication needs in the classroom.
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Document and track student progress toward IEP goals.
• Support literacy, social skills, and language development initiatives.
