Position Overview

School-Based Speech‑Language Pathologist – Early Childhood for the 2026–2027 school year in Washington, DC. Full‑time onsite position supporting students ages 3–5 across two campuses. Salary: $65,000–$85,000 annually.

  • 40 hours per week
  • Typical Schedule: 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM
  • Split schedule between two campuses (2–3 days per location depending on caseload needs)
Caseload & Responsibilities

The selected Speech‑Language Pathologist will support approximately 25 early childhood students, with caseloads expected to grow throughout the school year as additional students enroll and are assessed.

Students present with a range of communication needs including expressive and receptive language delays.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct speech‑language therapy services
  • Conducting evaluations and developing treatment plans
  • Writing IEP goals and maintaining documentation
  • Collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff
  • Participating in MTSS/RTI processes and team meetings
  • Working within a supportive and collaborative team culture
  • Engaging with a diverse and multicultural student population
