Job summary

Cole Health is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to deliver high-quality therapy services in Washington DC schools on a contractor basis. The role aligns with a school schedule, offering consistent weekday hours and flexible autonomy tailored to the needs of diverse students.

The SLP will collaborate with educators and families to support students in participating, learning, and thriving in the classroom and beyond, while completing required documentation and meeting professional standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Active Washington DC Speech Therapy license.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• School-based experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech therapy evaluations, assessments, and treatment services for students.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to promote student success.
• Complete required documentation and maintain compliance with school and professional standards.
• Participate as part of a multidisciplinary team supporting student outcomes.

Employment Type: Part to Full-Time Contractor

Schedule: Monday–Friday | School-Based Hours

• Pre-K - Kindergarten 20020 = 4 days a week
• 2nd - 8th grade 20019 = 26 hours a week (roughly)
• Pre-K- 1st grade 20032 = 25 hours a week
