Clearwater of Cascadia in Idaho is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat residents with speech, swallowing, cognitive-communication and related disorders in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility. Under physician direction, you will develop treatment plans, conduct assessments, administer tests, educate families, and document progress in patient records, ensuring HIPAA compliance.
A BS in Speech Language Pathology, current state licensure, CPR certification, and at least six
A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will evaluate and treat residents/patients with temporary or long-term speech, hearing, swallowing, and cognitive disabilities in compliance with state and federal guidelines. They will evaluate the resident’s/patient’s speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, and fluency and develop treatment plans. They will treat the residents/patients based on a physician’s treatment plan.
Education:
Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
Licenses/Certification:
Current license in Speech Language Therapy as required by state law.
Valid CPR certification required.
Experience:
Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
