Job summary

Napa Valley Care Center in Napa, CA is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehab team. The role involves evaluating residents, creating treatment plans, and delivering skilled SLP services to improve communication, cognition, and swallowing.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, participate in care plans, and contribute to discharge planning while supervising assistants when applicable. Competitive pay and sign-on options are available.

Qualifications

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
  • Active California SLP license in good standing.
  • Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Experience in interdisciplinary team settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate residents referred for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and obtain physician approval as required.
  • Provide skilled speech-language pathology services per physician orders and standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, rehab staff, residents, and families to achieve outcomes.
  • Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary discussions.
