Job summary

Legacy Healthcare Services is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our not-for-profit team serving senior living communities. You will evaluate and treat swallowing and communication disorders, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance residents’ quality of life.

We offer a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday requirements, plus comprehensive benefits including 401(k), health/dental/vision, PTO, life insurance, FSA, disability

Qualifications

• Masters degree from an accredited graduate program in speech-language pathology.
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP, or ability to obtain prior to employment.
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments using evidence-based techniques.
• Establish treatment goals and develop SLP treatment programs after a full clinical evaluation.
• Provide rehabilitative services to patients as part of a coordinated team.
• Participate in clinical conferences to coordinate plan of care for patients.
• Treat residents one on one with individualized, functional-based sessions.
• Desirable Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday requirements.

• Establish treatment goals, as well as develop and implement appropriate Speech Pathology treatment programs based upon a full clinical evaluation
• Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team
• Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate the plan of care for patients
• Treat residents one on one so each patient gets individualized attention through private treatment sessions with a functional based treatment approach
