Legacy Healthcare Services seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to join our team and help seniors live their best lives. You will assess swallowing and communication disorders, design individualized therapy plans, and contribute to coordinated patient care with a multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered treatment with a Monday–Friday schedule and no weekend or holiday requirements, supporting professional growth within a not-for-profit senior living care

Qualifications

• Masters Degree from an accredited program in speech language pathology.
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP, or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment.
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Establish treatment goals and develop/implement appropriate Speech Pathology treatment programs based upon a full clinical evaluation.
• Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
• Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate the plan of care for patients.
• Treat residents one on one with individualized attention through private treatment sessions with a functional based treatment approach.
• The ability to individualize treatment sessions.
• Desirable Monday-Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday requirements.
